Apple is one of the companies that will develop AR/VR devices as a new generation computing platform. According to the latest report, the AR/VR glasses device developed by Apple and named AR Glasses will be present in 2024.
According to sources, Apple’s AR Glasses are currently in the design and development phase, with the prototype set to be unveiled at the end of 2022. For the mass production period, it will only be implemented in 2024.
Besides AR Glasses, Apple was also reported to be developing an AR/VR helmet, where this product for AR/VR is an important product for Apple’s strategy in the future. Apple CEO, Tim Cook, even mentioned his hope that the AR/VR product could replace the iPhone within the next 10 years. This is because Apple products for AR/VR are designed to be able to perform computing capabilities at the level of a Mac and run independently, so they don’t require a PC or smartphone to run.
