Difficulty of Indexing
[Let’s talk about indexing articles on Google Search Console(GSC). There are some unique things that I experienced, then I will explain them one by one. If you’ve ever experienced problematic article indexing. Even though the article is original, it does not use a “spinner”, Auto Generate Content (AGC), but it is still difficult to be indexed by Google. Yes, welcome. This article is for you.
If you are in the blogging world, you will often come across relatively old articles indexed by the GSC. Someone tried to create an AGC article, but it got indexed quickly. Problems like this often make bloggers annoyed. Actually, what is the biggest influence in indexing articles to Google? Google index is full of mystery. Let’s go one by one
Trust/Authority of the Host Domain
The domain you are using. Data about when the domain was created, published, maintained, and more. In a way, this first point of view is a technical thing that Google uses to see “can your domain be trusted?” through these data. The age of a domain is an important factor. If you buy a domain that has been published before, this is one of the advantages. But there is nothing wrong if you choose to publish a blog with your own “new” domain.
If you have fellow bloggers, you can recommend one of your articles to be used as a reference on a blog that your friend manages. This is an example of an outbound link, as well as a backlink for your blog. Do the articles you write have topics that are related to each other? link them and you get inbound links. Domains, outbound, inbound links related to and from your blog, will be an important factor of almost 25% trust google index on your blog and articles.
Link Popularity
How many backlinks point to your blog, that number will be link popularity. Unlike domain popularity, each backlink is counted separately. For example, on a blog about coffee, 10 different entries have links to coffee buying and selling sites. In this case, you will count a total of 10 backlinks. Link popularity used to be important to search engines. Currently, many search engines are shifting their focus to domain popularity, which in addition to quantity provides information about the quality of backlinks. For this reason, it is important to get as many high-quality backlinks as possible, because everyone who clicks on the backlink will be directed to your blog.
Anchor Text of External Links
Anchor text is just one of thousands of tiny details of a complex SEO problem. The link you click can lead to 2 different destinations in one network. If you are browsing, then find a link like this, try to hover your cursor first, and don’t click it! Make sure you don’t open fake web pages and at the same time download suspicious files.
On-Page Keyword
Specifically, the keywords you use in each element of the blog post that you write will be a factor of judgment. Simply put, On-Page is something the page says to the search engines. So, the submission needs to contain keywords that are relevant to all elements in your post writing. That’s why I highly recommend you to use an SEO plugin. Because it can specifically help you “deliver” your article so that it can be indexed by search engines.
Registration and Hosting Data
Google index, not only talks about SEO either On-Page or Off-Page. All factors are connected. If you decide to use a hosting service, consider the following factors:
Speed
The main concentration on the speed of the server you choose will affect how quickly you serve content to readers.
Accessibility
Percentage of “live” owned by a web server. Have you ever seen the Google.com site down? I never saw it. Apply this to your blog, choose a hosting service that provides “live” as high as possible!
Server Type
This refers to how much money you will allocate to “store” all the data about your blog. Whether using a VPS, dedicated server, or shared hosting. All have advantages and disadvantages of each, there are certain limits that you must pay attention to in choosing the type of server. In my opinion, as long as the previous two factors are properly met, this last option will be lighter.
Traffic and CTR
How many visitors to your blog every day? do they read your content in its entirety to the end? Do they make your blog a reference? The answer can vary greatly, the number of visitors cannot be a factor in assessing the quality of the content you create. Did they find your blog from a search engine? If so, you are one step away from building a great blog!
Click-through rate (CTR) is closely related to digital marketing. Traffic is closely related to CTR, do your blog visitors click on ads that appear on your blog? How many? In short, the higher the traffic you get, the more likely it is that blog visitors will click on ads on your blog page. We will discuss CTR in more detail at a later time.
What’s next?
We all know, that the Google index is not perfect. Many shortcomings are continuously updated by Google, including the algorithm that is constantly updated. In this article, we discuss what factors affect a blog, especially blog posts that have the potential to be indexed by Google as quickly as possible. There are still other interesting facts, including Google News, there is a friend who managed to index his article less than 2 hours since it was published. There are also quality articles that can’t even be indexed for weeks. Indeed, what exactly is the determining factor for an article to be indexed quickly is still being sought.
