As the game is finally here, I’m sure by this far you are already the duelist of the Genius Invokation TCG. Yep, since its release with version 3.3, this game feature has taken a storm in our Genshin community and yes, it is so much fun to play. It’s adding our option of things we can do when we run out of resin. Plus, it’s also increasing our interaction with other players since you can duel another player in this TCG game. But if there is one thing that maybe can frustrate us when playing the game, is the elemental dice. With a limit of 8 elemental dice per round, it sure makes us need to think carefully before taking an action. Furthermore, we need to pray for our luck on the roll phase so we can get the elemental dice that we need. But of course sometimes, or even a lot of times, it doesn’t work in the way that we want. So how to manage these limited and lucky-oriented elemental dice in this game? Here are some tips that you can follow to help you manage your dice better.
Use Zero Dice Action Cards
With no fear of how many dice would be consumed during this action phase, you can focus your dice on strategizing your character skill with more ease. There are a lot of action cards that require zero amount of dice to play. One that is too good to be true is the Toss-up card. Not only it only takes zero amount of elemental dice to play, but also it gives us a chance to roll our dice two times. Yeah, you read that right, TWO TIMES. Wow, even Ningguang is really badass in this card game, huh?
Use Omni Dice Converter or Generator
Omni dice is very game-changing since it let us combine with all other elemental dice that we need. The more you have it, the more benefit you will get. Luckily there are some cards that would help you to generate omni dice like Timmie and Paimon. Or you can also use a dice converter card like “The Bestest Travel Companion!” card which can convert two elemental dice into two omni dice.
But in terms of managing our dice, Liben is our favorite card. Which can convert our dices that have not been used within a round into a counter, and when the counter reaches a number of 3, it will provide us with two elemental dice. So, you don’t have to worry to waste your dice useless in each round. And on top of that, it only costs you zero dice to utilize.
Use Action Cards that Reduce Dice Cost
Some skill indeed is costly to play. Take the example of Ganyu which needs 5 elemental dice to use its piercing skill. So, another way to save your dice is to reduce the cost. You can use a food card that has the effect of reducing dice cost or you can invest in an artifact or equipment card so you can reduce the amount of dice you will need each round.
Use Jade Chamber Card
With this card, you will be guaranteed to get the elemental dice that you need to do some skill based on your active character. This is like a cheat code for those who got an unlucky hand on rolling. At the very least, each round you are guaranteed to make an elemental skill move. Giving you more space to think about your next move.
Use Chef Mao – Food Support Card
This is another trick that you can use for your deck. Chef Mao card can generate an elemental dice whenever you use a food card for each round. Combine it with a food deck, and you will find it pretty helpful since most food cards are low-cost types of cards. Besides, more dice mean more moves, right? And if you are lucky enough, you will get the elemental dice that you wanted.
Build a Deck with Two Similar Elemental Characters
If you using a deck with two similar elemental characters in it, then lucky you. Since you can put this kind of card into your deck. Depending on what elemental type you using, these cards will easily help you generate an elemental dice that you need to make a move.
Elemental Tuning
If after all those things and you still don’t get what you want, what else you can do? Elemental tuning is the last option to swift the game towards your plan. It does cost you a card to do so, but hey, this feature was created for nothing, right? Wisely using this feature will also help you to lead the game toward what you want and manage your elemental dice nicely.
Conclusion
And those are some trick to help you manage your elemental dice even better. But above all, the most important thing is to always calculate your dice before making a move and always keep on track on it. And last but not least, have fun with your game. Or should I say, your duel. Comment down below if you find these tricks helpful or if we missed out something. Let’s duel!
